Miroslav Kukucka is Slovak nature photographer based in Belgium. His photography is guided by a simple but profound truth: nature is not a commodity to be exploited, but a sanctuary to be cherished. He believes that unique natural environments and living creatures exist all around us, proving that global travel is not a requirement for capturing evocative imagery. Reflecting this philosophy, the majority of his photographs were taken near his homes in both Belgium and Slovakia.
