Unbowed
A white rhino stands alone beneath a stormy sky — ancient, armoured, unmoved. The clouds gather, yet it walks on. A living testament to resilience in a world that has pushed its kind to the very edge of existence.
About Artist
Vishnu Purohit
Vishnu Purohit is a Dubai-based wildlife photographer with five years behind the lens and a lifetime of wonder before it. His journey into photography began the way most great adventures do — in front of a television, watching documentaries that made the wild feel both distant and desperately real. That feeling drove him to act. From the frozen archipelago of Svalbard, where he first chased polar bears across the Arctic silence, to the winter mists of Hokkaido and the rugged wilderness of Hornstrandir, Vishnu has sought out the world's most remote corners before they — and the creatures within them — disappear. His images are quiet conversations about survival, resilience, and beauty on the edge. While deeply connected to wildlife conservation broadly, it is the rhino — ancient, armoured, and unbowed — that holds a special place in his heart.
