TeeJay, One of the Last Remaining Big Tukers
There are only about 20-25 of big tuskers left in the world and most of them are in Amboseli National Park in Kenya. It is really special to come across one of them. This big tusker is called TeeJay and he is about 37 years old. He has a massive head and very impressive tusks.
About Artist
Zita Quentin
I am a Hungarian born, US based award winning nature and wildlife photographer. I have traveled on five continents to see and photograph big and small wild cats of the world. So far, I have photographed 14 wild cat species and hope to encounter many more in the future. My goal with photography is to raise awareness about endangered species - many of them are cat species - and help with the conservation efforts. I am hoping to capture the beauty of nature and memorable moments spent with wild animals in their environment. I really enjoy photographing animal behavior, interactions and love to find humor while observing animal behavior.
