Goutam Mitra is a wildlife and nature photographer with a passion for capturing the diversity and character of the natural world. His photographic journey spans over two decades and has taken him across Japan, Costa Rica, Bali, the UK and the UAE, as well as some of India’s iconic wildernesses, including Kaziranga, Corbett and the Sundarbans. His work has been featured in photography exhibitions in both the UAE and India. He is the author of Birding in Al Qudra: Magical Experience of Nature in the Desert (2024), a photographic celebration of the remarkable birdlife of Dubai’s Al Qudra ecosystem.
