Lone Cheetah in the Rain
A lone cheetah, member of the famed Tano Bora, strides across rain soaked plains of the Masai Mara, framed by falling rain and the ghostly outline of the bush behind. A wildebeest skull in the foreground echoes the cycle of survival in a very tough environment where only the best hunters survive.
About Artist
Brent Borgundvaag
I’m am constantly evolving as a wildlife, travel, and adventure photographer. I'm particularly drawn to moments of stillness, connection, and raw beauty. I work to explore the emotional presence of people, animals, and landscapes — how they reveal resilience, fragility, and their bond to each other and the land. From the open plains of Africa to the quiet rituals of a bon dance in Japan, I aim to tell stories that speak through light, texture, and human presence in the wild. Like my images, I too am a work in progress.
