I’m an economist by training, but my path into nature began with a search for stillness. Birdsong was the only thing that could quiet my mind, lift it from its constant churn, and birding soon became my way to meditate. It led me back to a place I had always loved—the Himalayas. Their irresistible mystery, the whisper of mist through the valleys, a cup of chai in cold mountain air, and the call of birds at dawn became my refuge. Nature and wildlife photography grew naturally from a longing to hold onto these moments, to capture the quiet magic that nature reveals. I am on a journey to explore, to stay curious, and to keep expanding my horizons.
