Ais Huiyi Yin is a contemporary artist working primarily with photography. Her practice explores perception, memory, and the natural world, examining how light, atmosphere, and space shape visual experience. Through a restrained visual language, she investigates the boundaries between visibility and concealment. She holds a BA in Fine Art with First-Class Honours from Chelsea College of Arts, University of the Arts London, and undertook postgraduate studies in History of Art and Architecture at the University of Cambridge. To date in 2026, she has received 23 awards and distinctions across eight international photography competitions. Her accolades include ten Professional Silver Awards at the Global Photography Awards 2026; a Gold Award, a Silver Award, and an Honourable Mention at the World Grand Prix Photography Awards 2026 – Autumn Season; a Professional Bronze Award at PX3 2026; and three Silver Awards at the MUSE Photography Awards 2026. At the Australian Photographic Prize 2026, she was named International Underwater Photographer of the Year, placed second in the Professional International Underwater category, and received Highly Recommended and International Finalist distinctions. Further recognition includes four Official Selections at the International Photography Awards 2026, two Honourable Mentions at the London Photography Awards 2026, and a Professional People’s Vote Award in Fine Art at the Exposure One Awards 2026 – Photographer of the Year Contest. Her work has been exhibited in New York, Paris, London, Tokyo, and across China.
