About Artist
Cynthia Ariosta
"I found my calling as a wildlife photographer underwater, scuba diving, discovering the peace and patience needed to witness the underwater world. It was there - and later on the surface - that I truly learned to listen to nature’s rhythms. After years of growing patience and resilience, I had finally developed what it takes to truly witness wildlife — persistence, stillness, reverence — and to tell the stories of the animals through my lens. Wildlife photography, for me, is a practice, a meditation, and a deep commitment to the natural world. I aim to capture the spirit of Earth’s creatures in their environments — on land, in water, and in the air — and to inspire a deeper connection between people and the planet we all share. Please, take time to go Into the Wild yourself. There is so much wonder waiting." Cynthia lives in Healdsburg, CA with her husband Bill and her two dogs, Raye and Valentin. She and Bill also spend time in the Florida Keys and Baja California Sur, where Cynthia does a lot of her diving. You can see more of her work on her website at www.
