Pam Dorner is an award-winning wildlife/landscape photographer from New Mexico with a BBA in Marketing from Texas Tech University. Her work comprises a love of wildlife such as the coastal brown bears of Alaska, the birds of Bosque del Apache as well as the allure of the Southwest landscape. One of her favorite subjects to photograph is the landscape of the Sandia Mountains along with the Rio Grande/bosque and the wildlife that call the area home. Pam has won international, national and local awards from Nature Photographer of the Year, National Wildlife Federation, Lake Clark National Park, New Mexico Magazine, Albuquerque the Magazine and Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge. In 2025, she won Wildlife in Bosque del Apache's Annual Photo contest. In 2023, she won the Grand Prize in New Mexico Magazine’s Annual Photo Contest for a photo of a great horned owl in the bosque, First in Wildlife for a photo of a sandhill crane and Honorable Mention in Landscape for a photo of the Rio Rancho bosque. She also made it to the judging round for Bird Photographer of the Year as well as the Natural Landscape Photography Awards. Pam’s work can be seen in publications such as New Mexico Magazine, Journal of Wildlife Photography, New Mexico True Adventure Guide, Guest-life New Mexico, Albuquerque the Magazine and Overland’s New Mexico Addition.
