Carol Ginandes is a fine artist who creates archival photographs, paintings, and mixed media artwork. Her work is in private and corporate collections and has been exhibited in galleries and museums. Among her portfolios are the “Outer Cape Portfolio”, “Western Series”, the “New England Portfolio”, the “Infinity Series” , the “South American Portfolio” and "Portraits". Of her approach she says "My intention is to make images that are aesthetically and emotionally revealing over time- images that honor moments of transcendent appreciation of an ordinary reality so blessed by the clarity of light and color that it seems heightened to a dream. The mindful use of saturated colors or tones, abstract compositions, and the aesthetics of physical presentation all invite the observer into an experience of sustained, contemplative viewing".
