White-bellied Sea Eagles
About Artist
Genevieve Ginty
I spent a lot of time in the bush, rivers and creeks, growing up in Australia. The natural world was something to revere and respect – it nurtures us and we protect it – that was the unspoken contract I understood from an early age. I continue to be drawn into the landscape, seeking and photographing what is shared with me so that in turn, I may be able to share it with a wider audience. With a focus on the future and our need to protect these wild places, I use both digital and analogue techniques to craft my images. I am interested in humanity’s complex relationship with the earth as well as how we engage with our natural world as individuals.
