Tired of goodbyes
This work tells a simple story of a couple who meet and end up falling in love. Although little by little they realize that their individual freedom and personal space is more important than the relationship itself and they end up separating.
About Artist
Cesar Blay
Represented by Galería Bat (Madrid) César Blay lives in a small, quiet Mediterranean town where, fortunately, nothing ever happens. For this reason, the artist has to invent stories and find his own characters. He studied Graphic Arts and later Advertising Graphic Design in Valencia and photographer at the CEV School in Madrid. He has exhibited in 2026 at the Experimental PhotoFestival in Barcelona, the Photo Festival Budapest,, and the Open Weeks in Paris and Madrid. These include PhotoEspaña 2016 and 2017 at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Madrid. He was selected for the Lens Culture Photography Awards 2016, for PhotoEspaña “Discoveries 2013”, and for the Banca March International Prize. He won competitions such as the Ciudad de Alcalá 2015 in the Author Photography category. César Blay has also been published in Vogue magazine, HoyesArte, Eñe, TVE2, and A Punt. Contemporary Fanzine.
