Based in Missoula MT I have spent a lifetime in the great outdoors. Growing up rafting, fishing, camping and hunting I am deeply connected with the natural world. My father exposed me to photography in my youth as he experimented with Wildlife Photography in the age of Film. In 2019 I was finally in position to buy a modern digital camera and have been on a photographic journey ever since. I have long ago blown my original $500 self imposed budget for camera gear. I have since expanded from Wildlife & Nature Photography into portrait, family, creative, boudoir, astro-photography and macro photography. Other than my father, and a few enlightening conversations with other photographers, I am largely self taught thru trial and error, and reading manuals, photography books. Every day I learn something new, or have a new idea for a photo I want to try. Someday, maybe....
