A lone shepherd descends from the snow-covered highlands of northern Iran, carrying the weight of a season on his back. As the first winter storm sweeps across the mountains, he begins the timeless migration to lower pastures, an enduring journey shaped by nature, survival, and tradition.

Hemad is an award-winning, fiction-based photographer whose work focuses on People and Lifestyle. Hemad started practising photography in 2009 as a self-taught amateur and has since gone on to win many awards such as Nikon 2014, Magnum 2015 and Hipa 2016. Hemad's work has been featured internationally in several publications such as New Yorker, National Geography and Telegraph and in different media. Hemad Traveled and lived in different countries such as Vietnam, Nepal, Georgia. At the moment he is living in Denmark.
