Giuseppe Tamponi, born in Oristano on April 16, 1954, began his photography career in the late 1970s. Soon after, he set up his first darkroom for developing and printing black-and-white film. He then experimented for some time with developing slide film using the E6 process and printing slides on Cibachrome. He has explored all photographic genres, eventually settling on his current favorites: reportage (which includes concert photography) and portraiture. He has created numerous wedding services for friends and acquaintances and has published several images in photography magazines, especially the monthly magazine Reflex (now Fotografia Reflex) and the monthly magazine Fotografare.
