My Name is José Monteiro i was born in 1970 , living in Lisbon since come from my home town to university. Working as a Engeneer in Petrochemical company. Started photography as a kid and forget it for more of 15 years , try it again when good digital cameras appeared but was not happy with imagens and the process . Returned to analog in in 2010 after attending a workshop with Alberto Garcia Alix and never let it go . My biggest influences are Japanese photographers lile Daido Moriyama. Tatsuo Suzuki and Mazakazu Murakami. Was also doing some workshops in Magnun specifically Story telling with Alec Soc Still use analog cameras , living in Lisbon and go out with my camera every day.
