Morning Stroll
Super Tusker TJ takes a morning stroll near the marshes of Amboseli National Park, Kenya. It was a stormy morning in late March as the rain was about to begin, and "TJ" was ambling across the open plain with a pair of oxpeckers on-board.
About Artist
Jim Guerard
Jim Guerard moved to Savannah, Georgia in 2014 when he retired from Adobe Systems, Inc. as Vice President and General Manager of Adobe’s Creative Cloud. Jim began exploring photography in 2007 as entertainment on weekends during long business trips. Jim ventured deeper into photography after retiring and continues to hone his craft on the local area's scenic vistas and through an active travel schedule. When venturing away from Savannah, Jim’s priority is collecting images from around the world, intended to stir awareness and offer glimpses of elements in nature and distant cultures that are rapidly changing, and in some cases at risk of disappearing entirely. Jim has extensive general management experience in the software industry. Prior to joining Adobe in 2004, he was a corporate officer at Autodesk, Inc. where he ran their 3D Animation, Graphics and Visual Effects businesses. Jim gained extensive publishing experience while at The Walt Disney Company. He was part of the executive team behind Disney’s magazine publishing, children’s books, comic books and art businesses. He was also on the management team at Hyperion Books, a general-interest book publishing division of the Disney-ABC Television Group. Jim has a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Vermont, an MBA from the Darden Graduate School of Business at the University of Virginia and is a former adjunct professor at Clemson University. He is also an accomplished speaker, having presented at such major industry events as the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB), The Sundance Film Festival, the International Broadcast Convention (IBC), TV of Tomorrow, and the Future of Broadcasting.
