About Artist
Gary Kuroki
As an artist who thrives on the interplay between lines, shapes, light and shadow, my work often explores themes of contrast and emotion, striving to evoke a sense of timelessness in each frame. Through careful composition and a deep appreciation for texture, my images aim to transcend the ordinary and transform the mundane into the extraordinary. My photographs do not undergo extensive editing. I do not add or remove any objects from the original photograph. Instead, I rely on composing the photograph as it is presented to me. My philosophical approach is best described by Cartier-Bresson who said, “You just have to live, and life will give you pictures.”
