Andrew's main interest's are wildlife and nature photography. As a self-trained photographer living in Southwest Florida, the majority of Andrew’s work is from his journeys around the state of Florida. Andrew also regularly photographs in Alberta Canada, where his family has their second home. In the first few years of photography his work was featured in Spotlight Magazine and on Wer weiß denn sowas, which is a German TV quiz show. During his first month of photography, Andrew captured roseate spoonbills pinching alligator’s tails, while sweeping up food stirred up from by the scurrying gators and has been hooked ever since. Andrew has won numerous photography awards and continues to compete in Art competitions and exhibitions. In 2021 Andrew became a Judge for the Florida Camera Club Council. Andrew's goal is to help educate the public on Florida's ecosystems & the environment through photography, videos, and storytelling. Andrew tries to capture nature and wildlife as he sees it. His research, planning, patience and vision combines with a little bit of luck - rewarding us with unique moments in time. All images are a single capture, unless otherwise specified. No animals were baited or called in for photos. Physical prints of Andrew's photographs are available for purchase on aluminum and canvas. He also offers some of his work in digital format, for those who enjoy collecting artwork on the blockchain as NFTs.
