Biography Alexandra Thannhäuser, is a proud mother to nature-loving twins and alongside them lives their beloved Australian Labradoodle, all residing in the beautiful town of Düsseldorf. Starting in 2022 Alexandra has become an emerging photographer with a diverse portfolio in creative and academic fields. She holds a Diploma in Architecture from the Münster School of Architecture, Germany, and a Master’s Degree in Design & Digital Media from the University of Edinburgh, Scotland. Her professional experience includes e-Learning methods, knowledge management techniques and the integration of new technology into educational systems through virtual reality. In 2024, Alexandra earned third place in a Snapcollective book publishing contest and was a finalist in the Smithsonian Magazine's 21st Annual Photo Contest (travel category). In 2023, she was a finalist in the Streetphotographers Awards, exhibited at the Teheran Streetphoto Festival, and featured in Docu Book Vol. 31 - Best of Documentary & Street Photography. Dedicated to creative expression, Alexandra persistently advances her diverse career, with a particular emphasis on the art of photography.
