For me, photography is not about recording what is in front of the camera. It is about discovering what others may pass by. Whether I am photographing wildlife at sunrise, the streets of Chicago, a beloved pet, or a quiet moment between people, I am drawn to images that tell a story, evoke emotion, or reveal beauty in the ordinary. My goal is simple: to create photographs that encourage us to slow down, look closer, and see more. After a lifetime of caring for patients as an optometrist, photography has become another way of helping people see the beauty of the world. Less… so you may see more. We look—but do we SEE?
