Fictional This series use AI tools to reimagine self-portraits. In a world where self-portraits have become an everyday way of expressing oneself, this portrayal of the Self aims to redefine that expression through a fictional lens. AI offers a fleeting representation and control over my own body.
About Artist
Anja Høvik Strømsted
Anja Høvik Strømsted is a photographer, author, filmmaker, and multidisciplinary artist born in Oslo. She has studied Creative Writing at Telemark College University and Gothenburg University, Valand School of Fine Arts and Film production (M.F.A.) at New York University Tisch School of the Arts. She has produced works of fiction, short and feature films, animation films, music and music videos, photography, and visual arts that have won prizes and screened worldwide. She has won an Official Selection for the IPA International Photography Awards and an Honorable Mention by the Neutral Density Photography Awards.
