Hello! My whole family is addicted to traveling, and so far I've been to 50 countries, and my children have been to 19. I received my very first Canon DSLR as an anniversary present from my husband. I have become a hobbyist photographer and bring my camera wherever we travel. When I'm at home, my career is being a pediatric hospitalist. I have merged my career with my love of traveling. I will go on my 6th international medical volunteer mission this December 2026. I think I was initially drawn to photography because I wanted to document our travels in a nicer way. Now I realize I am drawn to photography because it challenges my science oriented brain to be creative. I never took art or photography classes in school. Photography is a challenge. I have traveled to places specifically for photography. I am excited to learn more and am happy to share this stage of my learning process. Thank you.
