Jerry Aurum is an Indonesian photographer, filmmaker, and visual communication specialist whose work spans fine art, commercial, editorial, fashion, portraiture, travel, corporate, and cinematic storytelling. Since beginning his professional practice in 1999, he has built a multidisciplinary body of work defined by conceptual clarity, technical precision, human presence, and refined visual language. He is recognized as one of Indonesia’s prominent contemporary photographers. Jerry was among the first Indonesian photographers assigned by National Geographic, the only regional brand ambassador for Canon Southeast Asia, and an official photographer for the Asian Games 2018. He has also appeared as a guest judge on Asia’s Next Top Model and MasterChef Indonesia. His long-running conceptual series Femalography, begun in 2001, became one of his most recognized bodies of work, exhibited in Jakarta, Singapore, and Amsterdam. The book reached No. 1 at Borders in 2006, and two photographs from the series received Platinum and Gold recognition in Graphis Best in Photography. Across more than two decades, Jerry has worked with brands, institutions, government bodies, public figures, artists, athletes, and private clients across Indonesia and abroad. His work moves between beauty and tension, strategy and emotion, craft and visual intelligence.
