Myrto Karamitsou studied drawing and painting before continuing at the Athens School of Fine Arts, where she studied Painting, as well as Mosaic and Photography. Her work has been presented in solo and group exhibitions. After many years living and working in Ojai, California, she is now based in Ermoupoli, on the island of Syros, Greece. Photography has accompanied her throughout her life, alongside other forms of artistic expression.
