Worked as an assistant to a very energetic and creative photographer in the early 80's. Didn't really start shooting myself till the late 80's. Early 90's started my own photography business in far north Queensland shooting everything from products to hanging out of helicopters. 4x5, 67, 645 and 35mm film. Stayed away from weddings as much as possible but did few in times of need and tried but couldn't really get into them. Shot full time for law enforcement in Texas, Managed a team of photographers in Maui HI for a couple of years then came back to Australia. Back into law enforcement then started a long term construction time lapse business. This business has allowed now me to pursue more creative Industrial, Architecture and landscape photography. I love 720nm infrared for contrasty black and white's and shoot them on specially converted camera bodies. I shoot Fuji GFX mirrorless, Nikon DSLR and Sony 35mm mirrorless digital. I love how some people now shoot and think film is the tit's, Let me tell you, I don't miss film at all, What I do miss is printing big! These days I run a long term construction timelapse business with one other, It's going very well and gives me a chance to shoot arty industrial pics... I love my job! Cheers
