BA Hons Fine Art Newcastle Polytechnic 1978 MA Fine Art Newcastle University 1981 Art Teachers qualification Goldsmiths College University of London 1983 Taught art school fine art and then obtained a permanent teaching position at St Paul's School London in 1984 teaching painting, photography printmaking and art history. 1988 1 year exchange to Phillips Exeter NH taught photography, art history. Taught photography for 8 summer sessions at Phillips Exeter. Continued with my own work during this period. Organised exhibitions and talks by artists at the Milton Gallery St Paul's School including Bridget Riley, Terence Donovan, Cornel Lucas, RCA post graduate students, Pop Artists from the Redfern Gallery, Architectural Association architecture students. Exhibited my own photography and attended courses at Sothebys, Maine Media Workshop. Senior A'Level examiner Art Edexcel. I am a collector of photography aswell as a patron of the Photographers Gallery London.
