I startet to make photos when I was fifteen. I began with the old Voightländer Vitessa from my father. In my school we had a darkroom and a lab, so I started to develop my films and my prints in black and white by myself. I worked every minute to afford my own lab in the cellar of the house of my parents. Nearly every night I spent there to practice and develop my technic. When I was seventeen I won the German Youth Photography Price and a honorable mention at the International Nikon Contest, with eighteen I made a third price in the International Photo Contest. I had a double page in the Stern Foto Yearbook. I was successful in a couple of other Competition and I had 2 Exhibitions. During my studies I worked with a professional advertising photographer as an assistant. Beginning with my Examination and starting in my Job as a Doctor of dental surgery i didn't find the time to do a lot Photography . I started to make pictures again in 2007 and beginning with that time Photography again became a very important part of my live.
