About Artist
Eileen Thomas
Photography has fascinated me for as long as I can remember. There is something magical about freezing a fleeting moment. I love the poetry of the street: coincidences, light, shadows, life ... For me, photography is not just about taking pictures — it is a way of slowing down, observing, and switching off from the noise of everyday life. In my professional life, I am a secondary school teacher currently teaching at an international school. I truly enjoy teaching, but to recharge, I take my camera and disappear into the streets, where everyday life tells its stories. What fascinates me most is how seemingly insignificant moments can suddenly become timeless once captured through the lens - small (human) moments continue to inspire me.
