Amboseli Giants
This series is focused on the bull elephants of Amboseli, that often play a critical social role as they enter their prime. Typically between the ages of 25 and 45, these males reach peak condition, their size, strength, and dominance marking them as central figures in both elephant society.
About Artist
Jules Oldroyd
I'm a multi-award-winning fine-art wildlife photographer specialising in imagery that captures the raw beauty and fragility of the natural world. For several months each year, I travel from my home in London, UK to some of the most remote and breathtaking environments on Earth—from Africa and Asia to the Arctic. There, I photograph not only the majestic wildlife in front of my lens but also the delicate ecosystems they inhabit. My limited-edition fine art wildlife prints are timeless statement pieces that bring the beauty of nature into homes and commercial spaces. Each piece is intended to evoke emotion, ignite a sense of wonder, and inspire a deeper connection to the natural world. I am passionate about wildlife conservation and feel a strong sense of responsibility to protect the world’s wild animal populations. Through my work, I proudly support various organisations such as Amboseli Trust for Elephants & Polar Bears International. I donate 10% of all print sales and have raised thousands of pounds in recent years. My wildlife photography has been internationally recognised by World Nature Photography Awards, Nature's Best, Mono Awards, and Fine Art Awards and has been featured by international publications including Forbes, the BBC and others.
