Susan Ciccotti
Bio
Susan Ciccotti is copy chief at Aperture, where she has copyedited or proofread the text for more than two hundred photography and artist monographs, to date. Among her duties is serving on the team that reprints renowned and beloved titles such as Diane Arbus: An Aperture Monograph, Danny Lyon’s The Bikeriders, and Susan Meiselas’s Nicaragua as well as contemporary best sellers, including Sasha Wolf’s PhotoWork: Forty Photographers on Process and Practice. Earlier in her career Ciccotti was associate editor at Museums magazine, senior editor at the American Association of Museums (now American Alliance of Museums), and office manager for the historic Octagon Museum in Washington, DC. She holds an MA in arts criticism from City, University of London, and a BA in art history from George Washington University, Washington, DC.
