Watery Ballet

In the morning sun, a Canada Goose began splashing in the water. In order to make the bird appear one with the water, I used a slow shutter speed to blur the backlit water. In order to simplify the scene, I chose a black and white conversion, that removed the distraction of colour.

About Artist

Gurnit Atwal

I am a relative newcomer to photography, starting 3 years ago after completing my PhD and suffering a back injury that prevented me from engaging in intense physical activity. My style of photography is focused primarily on showcasing the beauty of wildlife through creative and abstract perspectives.
