About Artist
Lisa Jayne Cramer
Lisa Jayne Cramer is an Australian photographer based in Melbourne (Naarm). Her practice explores love, longing, grief, and beauty, often expressed through analogue photography and performative self-portraiture. Drawing on elements of abstract expressionism, collage, and metaphorical imagery, most notably flowers, her work explores themes of fertility, decay, femininity, and resilience. Cramer’s work has been exhibited both in Australia and internationally, including in the United Kingdom, France, and Spain, and is held in private collections across France, the UK, the USA, Mexico, and Australia. She has been published in FotoNostrum Magazine (Barcelona, 2024) and Eyes on the World (Kamira Institute, Paris, 2025). She is an alumna of the 2025 Penumbra Foundation Long Term Photobook Program (New York), through which she developed her first dummy photobook, FLOWER under ether (December 2025). In 2026, she attended the Chico Review in Montana, USA.
