I've been a photographer since I was given a camera at fifteen. Never again was a gift guessed; it immediately became an object to always be with me. Photography has become a part of me. With my photography gear in my backpack, I leave early whenever I can, trying to capture the beauty of nature, of landscapes, for life of men and animals that are part of the mountain environment. I try not simply to make beautiful postcards but to pick up mountain stories. In the backpack... but also in the suitcase. Travelling allows me to open my mind and heart to other human beings by being able to identify with other realities. It helps me understand that not everything in this world can be summed up as "black or white."
