The Journey Begins
This Olive Ridley sea turtle hatchling, barely the size of a little child's palm, just started its difficult journey from sand to the ocean. Its dark eyes reflected both vulnerability and determination as it slowly crawled toward the ocean, guided by natural light and an innate drive to survive

About Artist
Tina Tovar Dias
I was born and raised in Manila, Philippines, but I have made my home in Florida for the past two and a half decades. My first camera was gifted to me by my father when I was eleven years old. My eyes could only see beauty through the lenses of cameras through the years. Alas, my photographic journey has a beginning but sees no end! I have experimented with street, portraits, documentary, landscapes and wildlife photography. Where there is color in front of me, I see black and white all over!
