I am an amateur photographer focused on nature and wildlife. My journey began in childhood, when I watched documentaries that revealed remote places and species I never imagined I would one day encounter. That early sense of wonder, combined with my lifelong interest in natural sciences, never faded. Although my professional career is dedicated to nasal surgery, every spare moment becomes an opportunity to observe the natural world with curiosity and respect.
Photography emerged as an extension of my vocation to help others—a tool with a deeper purpose. I learned almost everything I know through self-study and research, driven by the desire to understand light, technique, and animal behavior. While I cannot fully define my personal style yet, I aim to convey a clear emotion through my images: giving visibility and voice to what is fragile, overlooked, or seldom seen. Whether it is a common city bird or a vulnerable poison frog, my intention is to highlight the beauty and value of what we often dismiss or fail to notice.
Exploring remote places, searching for emblematic species, and waiting patiently for unique encounters have shaped the way I experience the planet. For me, it is no longer only about conservation; it is about connection, motivation for life, and awareness of our role as just one more species sharing Earth.
I have been fortunate to explore extraordinary ecosystems across Colombia, as well as unique landscapes in Brazil, Chile, Kenya, and Iceland, witnessing unforgettable moments—from the wildlife of the African savanna to puffins and the Northern Lights in Iceland’s magical scenery. As a partner at Keeping Nature Tours, a Colombian company dedicated to nature exploration and photography, I have visited countless places and met people who, like me, strive to give nature a voice through their images.
Continuing to create photographs, learning new techniques, and refining my vision are now my main goals in pursuing a purpose that guides all my work: reminding others that we are all part of nature.
