About Artist
Grit Brune
Grit Brune is an amateur photographer based in Frankfurt, Germany. Her creative work in advertising as well as the long time she spent living in Asia were formative for her current style. It was there that she developed her sense of aesthetics and simplicity.Her current work focuses on capturing geometric and minimalist compositions within urban public spaces, drawing from everyday life and its subtle narratives. Architecture, spatial ambience, and human presence hold equal significance in her compositions. Through this interplay, her photographs create a layered dialogue that reflects key themes of modern society, visually articulating its complexities.
