"Sticks"

Much of the lodgepole pine forest in Yellowstone National Park grows “doghair” thick, crowded and tangled. This particular stand, however, was clean along the lower trunks. By using a slow shutter speed, I set the trees in motion—turning rigid sticks into flowing lines within the forest.
