Steel Canopy
Steel gathers overhead in a dark, repeating rhythm. Below, its shadow sinks into water smoothed by time. Between structure and reflection, the distant city appears suspended beneath the quiet weight of passage.

About Artist
Hikari Misumi
Hikari Misumi is a fine art photographer based in Japan. His work explores stillness, transformation, and the traces of time through long-exposure landscapes, monochrome architecture, and intimate botanical studies. Across these subjects, he is drawn to structure, void, repetition, and surface: the geometry of built spaces, the interplay of water and traces of human presence, and the fine textures of buds and petals. Light, atmosphere, and a quiet tension run through them all. Misumi seeks to reveal the emotional presence within ordinary places and forms. Through light and shadow, texture and negative space, he invites viewers to linger over details that might otherwise go unnoticed. His photographs reflect a continuing inquiry into what endures, what changes, and what is still becoming. At the heart of his practice is an attentive way of looking: one that finds subtle shifts within seemingly motionless subjects, and enduring presence within changing surroundings.
