Spring storm

Flowers were presented in unconventional ways to convey emotions and conflicts. This series was made with Sinar 4x5 and Polaroid type 55 B&W. Can the delicacy of the flowers, the fragility of this film and our feelings have similar ephemerality? Does it end, or is it immortalized in a photo?

About Artist

Eduardo Costa Pinto

I was born and live in São Paulo, Brazil. I began learning photography through a few courses, but my influence and learning came over the years as an assistant in the studios of some important names in Brazilian photography. I consider them generous teachers. Photography is my way of expressing myself and I develop photographic series with the clear intention of telling stories, both lived and dreamed. I believe images can be used to tell stories and, if created with strength and honesty, they can deeply affect people, maybe even move and transform them.
