About Artist
Shawn Thomas
Shawn Thomas is a Virginia-based wildlife photographer who's never met a tripod he didn't leave in the car. He shoots birds like street photography. Reactive, handheld, usually while lying in something wet. He picked up a camera because his daughter wanted to watch birds. She still spots them before he does. Most days he's just waiting for the light to do something interesting with whatever shows up. Either way, it's a good excuse to get outside.
