Then came 2020—when COVID-19 brought the world to a halt. In that stillness, I was given an unexpected gift: time. Amid global uncertainty, I returned to a long-held love. With camera in hand, I wandered silent streets and rediscovered the world through new eyes. What began as quiet walks through empty streets became the spark for something lasting. As life gradually returned and the world reopened, I kept wandering—with my camera always close—drawn to moments of stillness, emotion, and unnoticed beauty. That early solitude trained my eye to see differently, and ever since, I’ve carried that perspective with me, seeking stories hidden in plain sight.
