Ice Drops

A quiet, yet profound impact of global warming. The gradual melting of this iceberg beneath the gentle sun-rays stirs feelings of loss and fragility within our natural environment. It's a reminder that climate change not only about facts but also the emotional connection we share with the planet.

About Artist

Tamar Amit

I'm a veterinary behaviourist who photographs wildlife - which mostly means my training taught me to wait and watch: to read emotion, and to be ready for the action that follows. Lately the ice has taken over. I keep going back to the polar regions to photograph what the landscape and wildlife do when nobody's watching.
