My journey in photography started almost as a game, capturing landscapes, shapes, and geometries with an old cell phone. At first, the results were a disaster, but the spark had already been struck. Feeling the need to go further, I first moved to a compact camera and then, thanks to a friend, I discovered the world of Reflex as a self-taught photographer. That initial passion took shape and substance, leading me to set up my first photography exhibition in 2016.Since 2017, I have chosen to deepen my training by participating in a few workshops and one-on-one sessions dedicated to portraiture. My goal was not only to master the technique, but to dig deep into the emotional aspect of the shot. For the rest, I have continued and still continue to experiment on my own, guided by instinct and curiosity. Although I have experimented with continuous light and flash, my true guide remains natural light. That is what I consider magical, especially in portraits: it allows me to freeze an authentic moment, capturing gestures, expressions, and the emotion in its entirety.I love everything that is color, shape, and movement, but I nurture a deep love for landscapes and black and white, where the interplay of light and shadows reveals the very essence of things. I know I still have a long way to go and new skills to learn, such as post-production, but I like to move calmly, one step at a time.I take photos because photography allows me to tell the story of life, feelings, fear, desire, the heart, values, and reality. In short, I photograph to express everything that words alone can hardly convey.
