Curious Arctic Fox

The rule is that you must stay at least 50 meters away from the den when photographing arctic foxes in the westfjords of Iceland. Unless, of course, the fox comes over to check you out. Then it is best to be still, and change to a shorter lens!

About Artist

Ralph Robinson

Ralph Robinson currently resides in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He makes work about the importance of preserving remaining wilderness areas and the wildlife that inhabits them. His sense of urgency about the plight of our planet has driven him to use his art to inform and encourage others to act now, before it becomes too late. Primarily working in photography, he has increasingly brought his images into photogravure, woodblock, inkjet, screen printing and mixed media as a way to further explore these ideas.
