Lisa Saltzman is an award-winning, New York City-based fine art photographer whose artistic influences include Impressionist painting, abstract works, Cubism and figurative photography. A graduate of NYU with a BA in Psychology, her interest in the human psyche also informs and shapes her photography. Saltzman studied photography at Christie's and the International Center of Photography, where she holds certifications. She is known for her unique style of street photography, which has garnered prestigious awards and worldwide exhibitions. Saltzman was a member of the Board of Directors of American Photographic Artists (APA) New York Chapter and is currently a Board Member of the Center of Photography at Woodstock (CPW), where she's created The Saltzman Prize for emerging photographers in honor of her parents who had a lifelong passion for art and have strongly influenced her own work. Saltzman's stirring black and white images capture the human emotion and daily life in a city that never sleeps.
