At The Watering Hole

Zebras, a hyena, a leopard and giraffes came to drink at the watering hole during the night. As they walk to or from the water, they kick up the fine dust. I spent 16 hours for three nights in a hide to observe these animals in Kenya

About Artist

Zita Quentin

I am a Hungarian born, US based award winning nature and wildlife photographer. I have traveled on five continents to see and photograph big and small wild cats of the world. So far, I have photographed 14 wild cat species and hope to encounter many more in the future. My goal with photography is to raise awareness about endangered species - many of them are cat species - and help with the conservation efforts. I am hoping to capture the beauty of nature and memorable moments spent with wild animals in their environment. I really enjoy photographing animal behavior, interactions and love to find humor while observing animal behavior.
