Born in 1978 and lives in Casablanca, Mohamed Tazi is an multi award-winning photographer, artist, and entrepreneur whose mission in life is to "explore the beauty that god has created in our world”. Since the age of 18, he works in the world of « luxury », watches & jewellery specifically … a job for which he has great respect, it has brought him a nice balance and a humanly enriching. During all these years, he has developed the rigorous job well done … but more importantly, the desire to please, and to trust that we could give him … Beside that, in 2008, a strong desire arose. The resume, find that passion for the image … photography in particular … this one having never really left, and remained in a corner of his heart that allows him to express his creativity and what he sees … His work enabled him to travel all around the world and gave him the opportunity to capture the beauty of each country that he visited and immortalize unique moments and authentic cultures. For the 100th anniversary of Nikon, Mohamed was selected and invited by Nikon to represent this prestigious brand through his experience and his photography art and assigned as Nikon instructor. In 2018 he won the Image of The Year Prize organized by the Photographic Society of America PSA for his photo that won the best image of the year in color section. As a consequence of his distinctive work done in Wildlife photography, his photo was selected among the best wildlife photos of the year in 2020 by Agora images and became one of the most viral wildlife photos of the year. His photography was published in a multitude of famous magazines and newspaper, such as National Geographic, Forbes, Daily Mail, The Sun, Photography Week, Wild Planet, Insider, Arab News… In 2021 Mohamed was appointed by the Photographic Society of America as a Country Liaison Officer to represent the values of the organisation and help Moroccan photographers to improve their level. Today Mohamed Tazi’s photography serves as a powerful tool of cultural diplomacy. His exhibitions, held in various countries, create spaces where people from different backgrounds can come together, appreciate, and celebrate cultural diversity. By portraying the subtleties and vibrancy of life in different parts of the world, Tazi encourages dialogue and empathy, breaking down stereotypes and building connections. In every photograph, Tazi tells a story that resonates universally, yet speaks intimately of the place and people it depicts.
