Bio

Alessandro Catinella, born in Milan in 1987 and residing in Cecina since the age of 11, began actively engaging with photography in 2012 by joining the FBN Cecina Photography Club and FIAF. In 2015, he took part in FIAF Talent Scout, youth section, a journey documented in an article by Silvano Bicocchi in FotoIT. That same year, he exhibited at FotoConfronti at CIFA and at the 67th FIAF National Congress in Amantea. In 2016, he was selected for the national FIAF project Tanti per Tutti with the portfolio Man’s Best Friend, dedicated to the Cecina dog shelter, and held an exhibition in Lucca with the portfolio Hold My Hand, thanks to the OFF WeLovePh circuit competition. His photographs have been published in several local newspapers, including Il Tirreno and La Nazione.
